Q: What inspired you to start this business, and how did it first begin in our community?
A: I started as a window installer helper in Ohio in 1989. After I moved to Tampa in 1992, I noticed the homebuilding and remodeling industry was booming. Being skilled working with my hands and having a strong interest in the home remodeling trade, I continued my career in window and door installation. Shortly after I obtained my Florida Building Contractor License in 2005, I started Tampa Bay Window & Door. I have always enjoyed working with homeowners giving them honest and quality work.
Q: What makes your business different from others that offer similar services?
A: Being the owner of the company with many years of hands-on experience, I personally measure and order all jobs. My success rate of proper measuring is 100 percent! Paying attention to every detail and the ability to explain all of the dynamics of window and door installation is a key part of my expertise.
Q: What is one thing about your industry that most customers don’t realize but should know?
A: There are a lot of window and door companies out there. Only a few have the required knowledge and experience to be in the business. Honesty is my number one priority; I will not oversell or mislead any of my customers.
Q: What has been the most rewarding moment or customer experience you’ve had since opening your business?
A: Being able to do honest and quality work at a fair price! It gives me satisfaction when my current customers call me back for additional work and give referrals.
